Leadership Programme for Managers

- Modular Development Over Two Years

 

Pre-Course > 'Capstone' Group Training > Clinic > Elective Modules > Optional Individual Coaching

Pre-Course

 

Selected participants are briefed on the objectives of the programme.  They are requested to arrange for the completion of three Personal Profiling Documents - one by themselves and two by either a senior, a junior or a colleague.  These documents are then sent to the trainer for processing.  (The results of this profiling will remain the property of the participant and confidential to trainer and participant).  Participants are asked to fill in a short pre-course questionnaire.

On-Course

 

Module 1 - Leadership

A three day introduction to leadership skills with simultaneous diagnostics for each participant.  Group size eight people.

 

Module 2 - Clinic

Participants are invited to attend a one hour individual session as part of a one-day clinic.  The trainer acts as a coach in identifying development objectives for each person.  The participant elects which modules he/she wishes to attend.

 

Elective Modules

Together with the client, we will have agreed the number and type of modules offered on the programme.  After Module 2, we see what adjustments, if any, need to be made to the Module schedule.  Each elective Module will be followed by a clinic where individual participants can receive feedback and direction.

 

Typical Modules might be:  Presentation Skills, Facilitation Skills, Inter-cultural Awareness, Conflict Management, Leading High Performance Teams, Managing Diversity, Negotiation Skills, etc.

 

Final Module

Participants come together for one day in their original grouping to exchange and assess progress.

 

Optional Individual Coaching

 

If required the trainer will coach selected individuals for specific goals for a further 12 month period.
